IMPORT PROCEDURE FOR TRADE BUYERS
As with all businesses, being in the 'Trade' means being able to buy stock at the lowest price possible in the best condition, allowing you, the Trade Customer, to maximise your profits.
We offer this service to Trade buyers only for a reasonable fee of £550 per vehicle, which is payable once the vehicle(s) arrive at the Port of discharge. Our fee includes all handling of Auction bidding in Japan, arranging shipping/De-Registration Documents and all other paperwork involved. We also arrange shipping to your preferred Port of Discharge and we can also handle all Duty/Custom Clearance in the UK. Please Note that Consumption Tax, Recycle Fee and Inland Freight in Japan is NOT inlcuded in our fee, this is added to the final Auction 'Buy Price'. Your budget per vehcile must include this cost. However, our fee stays the same whether you buy a Micra or a McLaren.
Buying from auctions is the most cost effective way of buying a new or used vehicle direct from Japan. Basically you are paying for the Car, the costs involved in Japan, Shipping and Custom/Duty at your port of Discharge. We add no other fee's on top, working on a commission basis for the service.
When buying stock for you Direct from all Major Japanese Auctions, we will explain along the way the actions involved and what the pitfalls you need to steer clear of.
With our experience on board you will have the confidence to buy your stock direct from Japan. As we buy mainly from Japanese Auctions, if you wish to buy a particular vehicle in Japan, we will explain the Japanese Auction sheets to you, what the overall condition is and if there are any records of repair/damage in the vehicles history.
If you decide to purchase from us on a regular basis, we will give you an Access Key to the Auction websites, where you can view for yourself what vehicles are available. With over 50,000+ units going through almost every week, the choice and options are endless.
Upon a successful bid, once we have received payment, it takes a week to De-Register and prepare a car for shipment in Japan. It is then ready to be shipped on the next available ship bound for the UK, usually docking at Southampton or Liverpool. Shipping then takes an approximate 5-6 weeks, dependent on shipping schedules and payments being received on time. If you are outside of the UK we can arrange shipping to your desired Port of Discharge.
These Auctions are not just limited to Japanese Cars, Trucks, Buses, Boats, Jet Ski's, Vans, American Cars (which are cheaper to buy from Japan then the US). German cars such as left hand and right hand drive BMW's, Mercedes, Audi's and Porsches also go through on a regular basis every week. Other European makes such as Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Bentley's, UK Spec Ford's, etc are also available. You will be extremely surprised to find out how much cheaper these cars actually are compared to the UK/European market, sometimes a hefty 30% less.
